Book: The Feminine Art of Living

By

Jamileh Alamolhoda is an associate professor at Shahid Beheshti University, specializing in the field of philosophy of education. She is a researcher in the areas of Islamic studies, women and family studies, public policy, educational foundations, and psychology.

This book offers a critical exploration of the concept of “woman” who like an incomplete man seeks her completeness through a masculine lens, aspiring to equality with men. It challenges the prevailing assumptions about women’s lives, which are rooted in economic domination, and traces these assumptions back to the economic approach in the humanities. The book embarks on a journey to discover the true essence of women by drawing upon the divine teachings of the Prophets. Through an examination of Quranic verses and a contemplation of human existence, it unveils the transformative perspectives on living as a woman. This book represents the first step toward a transformative approach in humanities research, one that can further develop with inspiration from the Quran.
