Mohammad Saleh Jokar, the head of the National Internal Affairs Commission and councils, in an interview with ILNA reporter regarding the “Sincere Promise” operation and potential responses to any further provocations by the Zionist regime, said: This attack was in response to the audacities and crimes committed by the Zionist regime, including the attack on the Iranian consulate building in Damascus, which resulted in the martyrdom of some of our country’s advisors. This was a legitimate defense based on the United Nations Charter and the rights of the Islamic Republic.
He continued: At that time, we unfortunately witnessed that international bodies and organizations, including the United Nations, did not condemn this attack, and this audacity may recur in the future. Therefore, in the limited operation that was planned and executed despite the defensive shield against missiles deployed by the Zionist regime, the United States, Britain, France, and some regional countries, with the intelligence and initiative shown by our brave forces, the desired targets in the occupied territories were successfully hit, thanks to God.
