International Conference Unites Lebanese and Iranian Women in Solidarity for Palestinian Rights

A diverse group of Lebanese Palestinian women, representing both Muslim and Christian communities, joined forces with a delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran at a recent conference. Weera Yamin, a Christian political figure, strongly criticized the silence of global human rights advocates regarding the Israeli regime’s actions, highlighting the alleged genocide and child-killing in Gaza, as well as attacks on residential zones in southern Lebanon. Emphasizing that the resistance movement is the true champion of human rights, Yamin expressed unwavering support for the cause.

Lebanese Member of Parliament Inaya Ezzo ul-Din, Rima Habib from the Palestine Islamic Jihad Movement, and Rima Fakhr al-Din, a member of Hezbollah’s Political Council, echoed the call for global solidarity to support Palestinian women and children. Jamila Alamolhoda, the wife of the Iranian President, stressed the potential decisive role of influential women globally in defending oppressed women and children, particularly those in Gaza. She pointed to the Israeli actions in Gaza as evidence of the true nature of what she termed “the world’s arrogant powers,” citing the tragic loss of tens of thousands of women and children as a poignant testament to these events.
